The UK Student Center 

      The place on UK's campus where literally the possibilities are endless! The most versatile building on campus, the University of Kentucky student center! This large building lies on the north end of campus right across from Memorial Coliseum. On http://www.uky.edu/studentcenter/directory it clearly states that  this energetic and very busy center has been reining on UK's campus since 1938. It has obviously evolved a lot overtime and perhaps turned into the busiest building on campus ( in strong contention with Willie T. Library. ).

      On the first floor of the student center, we have the university bookstore. A place where students gather to blow extraordinarily to much money on books for classes. The bookstore offers books for nearly every single class offered here, aside from a few courses that require you to order books online. The bookstore also offers the best variety of UK clothing apparel in the state of Kentucky, The first floor also has a theater across from the bookstore that offers free movies to students. 

     On the second floor of the university bookstore, you have tons of dining options and classrooms! There are approximately 15-20 classrooms on the second floor of the student center. We have Chick-Fil-A, Subway, and Starbucks all three some of the students most desired dining options here at UK. This floor also contains the University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union and the Plus Account office. So if you are wanting to set up a bank account on campus or you are wanting to add some money to your Plus Account this is the place to go! 

   Now for the basement of the student center, my personal favorite. Down here we have the Panda Express for dining (a great selection if you enjoy good Chinese food). We have the wildcat lounge which has approximately 8-10 pool tables that students use all throughout the day it seems like. We have have the UK ID office, so if you are an incoming student and need your ID made or if you are a current student and lost your ID, this is the place for you! The basement of the Student Center also contains a study section that holds around 25 students that is basically dead silence, if that is the way you like to study. 

  So one might ask what can you not find at the Student Center? The answer is basically nothing! What a great place for students to study, mingle, grab a bite to eat, or relax for a while and watch a movie on the first floor. This building has endless opportunities! As students at UK, we need to fully access all the resources we have. One of the best ones on campus is the UK Student Center!
